With 7 guests including the Area Governor, Keith the venue had an expectant atmosphere which was orchestrated elegantly by Robin Thirlwell as Toastmaster.

Dawn Wilson and Kenny Jones entertained with their respective speeches.  I think I will use Dawn as my travel guide - she makes the places she visits sound so enticing and make a note not to go competitive drinking with Kenny Jones if he reverts to his old ways.

Peter Roxburgh, new member performing his ice-breaker won the best speech which gave everyone in the audience a new perspective on arranged marriages.

Olga Taylor was Table Topics Master with a new twist on using colours as a subject.  Dan Webb won with 'purple'.  An entertaining evening, as always.
