Here is a thank
you from a previous members - it's a testament to the power of Toastmasters
!
"
Hello to you all, just a quick note to tell you that I can't make
it to the next meeting. I have been unable to attend for a while
due to other committments but I will always be grateful for the
wonderful opportunity Toastmasters has given me. I am now able to
speak effectively in public and presented my first workshop a few
weeks ago.
The
experience of speaking regularly at Toastmasters has helped transform
a quivering, mumbling, 23 second first attempt at Table Topics,
vocalist, into someone who can actually enjoy the process of delivering
a one day workshop to 25 people.Toastmasters really works and what's
more the people that go are great!
So
my sincere thanks to you all.
Best Regards,
Jon Adler "
